專長:海洋生態、幼體生物學、珊瑚礁共生、藤壺生物及分類學
本人主要研究影響海洋物種的分佈的因素,特以藤壺為研究對象。藤壺於海洋環境無處不在,從潮間帶、淺海、珊瑚礁、深海熱泉,以至於鯨魚及海龜表面都有它們之踪影。本人近期的研究方向包括:
- 世界藤壺的物種之多樣性;
- 珊瑚及海綿的共生生物;
- 藤壺幼體生物學;
- 微塑膠對浮游幼體的影響。
此外,本人亦任教研究生/大學部課程《潮間帶生態學:田野調查體驗》,帶領學生實地接觸並考察海岸生物。
