A Young Researcher from Biodiversity Research Center Invited to SMBE23 meeting
Mr. Yu-En Lin, a junior student of Department of Biochemical Science and Technology, National Taiwan university, who has worked part-time in Dr. Shu-Miaw Chaw’s lab (Distinguished Research Rellow, Biodiversity Besearch Center) since 2022 summer, receives an Undergraduate Travel and Mentoring Award (US$3,500) from the Society of Molecular Biology and Evolution (SMBE). He will attend the SMBE23 in Ferrara, Italy, receive mentoring, and present a poster entitled "The triploid mystery: how does a triploid cultivar banana produce germinable seeds".
