We are a group of microbiologists and biochemists studying the metabolic diversity of anaerobes and extremophiles.

Our current research topics include:

1. Sex steroids-mediated microbe-host interactions;
2. Biodegradation of major endocrine disruptors;
3. Structural determination and bioactivity analysis of newly identified steroid hormones and neurosteroids.
