Introduction and Practical Application of the Machine Learning Program 'ReefCloud'
This workshop aims to improve coral reef monitoring in Taiwan using ReefCloud, a software developed by the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS). It applies machine learning to analyze images, making data processing faster and more efficient. The workshop includes underwater surveys and hands-on training, taught by the ReefCloud development team. It will help strengthen international collaboration, support research and citizen science monitoring, and enhance coral reef conservation efforts by government and academic institutions.
